JOLIET PRECOUNCIL MEETING – NORTHPOINT DEVELOPMENT
November 18, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
We have received confirmation that NorthPoint Development’s request for the rezoning of 103 acres that we believe will lead to the entire 2,200+ acre Compass Business Park will go before the Joliet council at the upcoming pre-council and council meetings on November 18th and 19th, respectively.
The Pre-Council Meeting allows time for council to debate and discuss agenda items, as well as to hear public comments. This will be held on Monday, November 18th at 5:30pm. The vote will be the following day at the council meeting.
According to Kendall Jackson, annexations are the only agenda items that are published (notification in the newspaper; letters sent out to homeowners in the notification zone). As such, there will be no formal notification to homeowners about the final vote. Please alert your neighbors and urge them to attend!
