Rev. Herbert Brooks Jr., pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Will County Board, said he is against the NorthPoint project and so is his congregation.
“‘I’m going to stop coming to church here.’ That’s what they say,” Brooks said when asked what church members say about the NorthPoint project. “Some of our older members have already stopped coming to church here.” ….
It’s a sad day when people are forced to find a new church because of a NP project that isn’t wanted by the citizens who live here.
