Less than 24 hours after reporting on an unauthorized cutout from a controversial construction site to a significant Will County road, the cutout no longer exists. That was in June when the council delayed a vote on the Dunkin’, previously known as Dunkin’ Donuts, until a traffic study would be done because of the potential impact at the Six Corners intersection.

Stop NorthPoint LLC served former Joliet City Manager Martin Shanahan with a subpoena Friday as part of the group’s lawsuit against the City of Joliet and NorthPoint Development. The subpoena seeks the productions of documents in Shanahan’s possession or control relating to studies pertaining to water issues, environmental impacts, traffic, noise and vibration, “whether contained in paper or saved electronically in thumb-drives.”… read more →
