No to NorthPoint Yard Sign Campaign

Yard Signs Are Back!

We are in the process of getting our yard sign campaign going again! Our news signs will read “Just Say No to NorthPoint” with our website below it. This gives people an opportunity to learn more about our cause and why we’re fighting the project. You’ll notice at the bottom of the sign there is a union bug — that’s because we used a union printer. 🙂

Previously, our signs read “Just Say No to NorthPoint” with “No More Trucks” below it. We changed the signs in an effort to be more inclusive to folks who work in the industry who support us, and to publicize our website. Additionally, now that NorthPoint Development has approached the Will County Board, the new signs will spread awareness to communities that have not been affected by the truck traffic that Elwood sees. You can read more about who we are and the first sign campaign on our website.

The Definition of Grassroots

Individuals from the community, as well as Will County District 6 candidates Joe Van Duyne and Don Gould, wrote checks to Union Signs and Printing to fully fund our order. Unfortunately, we do not accept nor do we hold donations for future use. We are using Union Signs and Printing out of Joliet, Illinois, which is a union print shop. Our signs will display the union bug.

Get Your Sign

We have 500 signs available and will distribute those once they come in. Signs cannot be shipped. We ask that you live locally (within Will County) to maximize our exposure to the right people. If you have not received a sign but would like one, please fill out this form (this is not a Facebook form – nor do you have to provide your email address), and we will get one delivered to you as our delivery teams are available.

Please keep in mind that yard signs CANNOT be placed in the right of way or easement onto Village property. The village can (and will) confiscate the sign if they are not placed on your own property. If your sign has been stolen, and you are requesting a replacement sign, consider placing it in a window instead.

Signs are available while supplies last. We will try to make deliveries within two weeks. If you have further questions, please send a message to the Just Say No to NorthPoint facebook page or through the contact form on our website.

Thank you for supporting our cause!
