LAWSUIT UPDATE: Manhattan v. Elwood

The Village of Manhattan was in court today for the lawsuit against the Village of Elwood and NorthPoint Development.  In the lawsuit, the previously scheduled case management hearing has been stricken (it was scheduled for June 26). Attorney Kathy Sons filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit on behalf of NorthPoint Development . That hearing to present the motion to dismiss is scheduled for August 1, 2018. Previously, the Village of Elwood filed a motion to dismiss. The presentation of that motion to dismiss will take place tomorrow, June 6, 2018.
